TesticulART Gallery

Summary

TesticulART is Dr Mark’s 1-week pop-up art exhibition of bejazzled balls for Men's Health Awareness Month (November). In 2023, the gallery had over 500 visitors including Russell Tovey from @talkart. Dr Mark is currently werrrrking on his new collection 🍒

Dr Mark‘s Take Home Message

Physical health - normalise self-examination

Sexual health - encourage regular testing (and never forget the balls!)

Mental health - celebrate body positivity and don‘t be afraid to talk about b be

Backstory

When a man sits in a specific seated posture, it's seldomly noted that the testicles naturally form a heart shape. This was the initial inspiration for the collection, sometimes art has to be provocative to raise Men’s Health Awareness.

Testicles always get a bad rep for being ugly. Dr Mark wanted to flip this perspective and created this ballsy collection 💁‍♀️

M.A.R.K. Project

The M.A.R.K. Project =

The Make Acts of Random Kindness Project

Dr Mark noticed that in some communities in clinic/hospital, there was selective giving of donations/care packages. In the name of their church, there are also content creators giving money to selective groups. Therefore, he thought how about we rebalance and support the sidelined queer people. Simply, queers lifting each other up when we really need help

(no strings/religion attached).

This is new so Dr Mark is planning to start small with cash/food donations and then hopefully build up to buying corrective glasses for colour blind queers and helping pay for devices/study.

This donation pot will be 100% not-for-profit - all donations will go towards queer people. Dr Mark will film and publish any transactions.
